Guideline - School Supplies

FFCA High School - Student Supply List

All students are required to supply the following materials for their high school program. These supplies may need to be replenished as necessary throughout the year:

  • Binders with loose-leaf paper and dividers (one 2" per course recommended)
  • 25 sheets 1.5cm or ½" grid paper
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 5-6 HB pencils (or mechanical pencils with sufficient leads)
  • 2-3 blue pens, non-erasable
  • 1-2 green pens
  • 2-3 highlighters (different colors)
  • 1 pkg. white board markers
  • 1 hand held pencil sharpener
  • 1 large glue stick
  • 2-3 white vinyl erasers
  • 1 30cm ruler
  • 1 pencil case 
  • 1 geometry set (compass, protractor, and triangles)
  • 1 calculator
  • - Gr. 9: any scientific with trigonometry functions required 
  • Gr. 10-12: TI-84 Plus recommended (NOTE: the following calculators are not allowed: TI-Nspire CAS, Casio ClassPad fx-CP400, Casio ClassPad330, Casio PRIZM fx-CG10, Casio fx-330ES, Casio fx-991ES, Casio fx-991EX) This is not an exhaustive list, when in doubt, check with your Math teacher
  • 1 USB 1GB (or larger) memory stick

  • 2 High quality metal combination locks, main locker & gym locker. Purchase solid locks for your lockers. There are locks on the market whose inner workings are made completely of plastic and provide only the perception of security. Students are responsible for keeping their belongings safe at all times.

** Some courses have additional requirements which will be specified by each teacher. For example, art students need a basic art supply kit provided through the art department which should last throughout the year.

All students are to bring the following to every class unless instructed otherwise:

  • School handbook
  • Personal agenda or method of recording homework
  • Binder/notebook (with paper)
  • Textbook(s)/workbook(s)
  • Blue or black pen
  • Green pen
  • White board markers
  • Pencil, eraser 7 sharpener
  • Straight edge (ruler)
  • Calculator for math class
