FFCA High School Casino

Casino Roles

The next FFCA High School casino will be on Saturday, December 9, and Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Deerfoot Inn & Casino.

The casino is the greatest source of funds raised at FFCA High School. At our last casino, in February 2016, we raised $70,000! Funds have been used to purchase: spin bikes, a shot clock, a portable PA system, X-country ski equipment, two sets of 30 Chromebooks, as well as four scholarships for qualifying graduates.

We wouldn’t be able to do it, however, without our volunteers: parents, grandparents, friends, staff, and former students. If you are 18+ years old, you can volunteer. No experience is necessary and training is provided.  You will have fun, enjoy a complimentary meal, and contribute 9 hours of volunteer time while helping to raise necessary funds.

Daytime shifts are from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Evening shifts are from 7:00 pm to 3:45 am.

Count room shifts are from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Interested? Email ffcacasino2017@gmail.com for more information and to learn about the different volunteer positions available.

High School Campus Society

The High School Campus Society arranges participation in a casino approximately every 18 to 20 months. In consultation with school administration, as well as input from parents, the Society oversees the expenditure of the funds raised at the two-day event. At its casino in February 2016, FFCA High School Campus Society earned over $70,000. In addition to supporting graduating students through scholarships, casino funds have been used to purchase laptops, cross-country ski equipment, spin bikes, basketball nets, Chromebook computers, a portable PA system, a shot clock, and numerous other items to enhance our students’ education. The next casino will be on December 9 and 10, 2017. Membership in the Society is open to all parents and guardians, as well as interested community members.
